Why wouldn't you boil your hotdogs?
Because the flavor is sucked out by the water when you boil them. Hot dogs aren't very good in the first place but if you're going to eat them don't boil them. If you can't grill them, lightly frying them in a pan over your stovetop or microwaving them (cover them in a damp paper towel and make sure not to keep them in for too long or they might pop/explode) are infinitely tastier methods. They're also faster than boiling water.
