Nothing But Mistakes

Some kind of chiptuneish electronic music with a random name. Made entirely in Sunvox, no samples.

digging that PWM-ish octave lead!  great synthesized drum sounds too.  that reminds me, i need to give sunvox a whirl again sometime (they probably added like 40 new machines since i last used it 2 yrs ago!).

i really like when the bass line cuts out for a second after the kick. out of all the tracks i have listened to today (and that is a lot of them) this is one of maybe 3 that i have actively listened to more than once. there is one part of the song, maybe 1/3 of the way in (when the bar gets to the Y in weekly for me) where the kick is popping. wasnt sure if intentional or not but really distracted me from the rest of the song.

Thanks guys!

@bryface Sunvox has come a long way in the last two years. I really like the concept of metamodules and new sound2ctl module from the latest beta. Really enjoyed your latest album btw :-)

@2PLAYER I guess it's because of sunvox's internal compressor algorithm, it's very fast but it's attack is a little unstable and because of that more transients come through. I'll try to workaround it next time though!

I am digging this track! Downloaded heart

super sexy, I agree with 2player about the bass.  heart it.

it's a great groove & tune! the leadsound reminds me of the XiXit theme song somehow...

Yeah man.  Dig your style :-)

Dope, impressed.

It would be a mistake to miss this song! Almost did myself
