Reign of the Inferior

By Tweaklab on January 1, 2017 11:51 am

And so concludes another year of WeeklyBeats!

It's been a pleasure as always, I can't believe a whole year has passed already!

2016 was one of the most influential and rewarding years I have been fortunate enough to have experienced, with GoldenEye: Source 5.0 having a solid and well received release in August (people seem to generally like my remixes in the game too!), the latest DOOM being a huge return to form with a killer soundtrack by Mick Gordon which ended up winning an award for sound design in a video game, and not to mention all of the projects Klayton/Celldweller/Circle of Dust/Scandroid released in 2016 including Killer Instinct Season 3's OST.

I can't wait to put all of the inspiration and experience gained from WB2016 into a more end game project which you can look forward to in 2017!

Thanks again to the WB community, I've no doubt missed out on hundreds if not thousands of great tracks, I will try and listen to some more in 2017 now that I'll actually have a bit more free time! Thanks for all the comments, it's what keeps me coming back for another round!

If there's a WeeklyBeats 2018, I might see you then... but in the mean time, you can follow me here!

Oh and as per this beat, it is my heaviest, most metal, most brutal, you get the point... I'm loving the level of production I'm starting to achieve with Reason, especially with drums and guitars. Oh, I also did the metal growl too. Vocals are going to be more of a focus on the upcoming project! More to follow!

Have a great 2017 everyone!

you are an awesome musician!  been great sharing the year with you - looking forward to 2017!

I don't usually like metal much, but this is fantastic. Well done!

2018 Tweaklab says thank you!!! Reading some of my old WB notes like a blog of the last 6 years... woah!
