Introvert Blue

I don't really have many options to test out the final mix of the tracks.  I thought I had a good amount of low-end in the mixes and I've even received nice comments regarding it, but I'm starting to wonder if maybe there was a bit too much in some of the recent tracks.  Of course that's my fault when it comes to applying a half-assed Master to the final mix.  So after walking in and out of the house about 5 times to test out the track in my car (because it has some nice low-end), I think I may have found a decent range.  The previous weeks I noticed were almost too saturated with the lows.  I don't pretend to know much about mastering other than I just want the overall volume to be a bit louder for everything.  Anywho this is a long description!  If you can let me know how the overall mix sounds, cool.  The KRKs I mix on are decent, I guess they're just better at handling the bass before it gets a bit vibey (yea that's technical).
If you haven't fallen asleep reading this, thank you for listening! smile

I'm listening through studio headphones.  It sounds great through them.

...same here, DT990 headphones. track sounds great!
good work! did you play the drums?

Awesome, thanks guys smile
Naw I wish I could play the drums.  This track had a few loops chopped and delayed and one 808 track i finger mashed in smile
Those DT990s look suhweet btw, dang yikes

sounds good on my desktop speakers with mini-subwoofer!

*makes note of technical term "vibey"*

THE INTRO IS FUCKING AMAZING!
Love the drums, pretty cool track!

Beautiful track! Really enjoying this! (while I should be hard at work!:(

Niiiiiiiiice mix. Gorgeous piano melody and subtle supportive countermelodies and pads are straight-up beautiful.  Very well done!

Love that winding watch sound when the pads come in, had to rewind and listen to it a few times, as far as the mix sounds good on my headphones, in my opinion I find your tracks always have a good mix

This sounds very deliberate and...careful, but natural and expressive too. Which I love smile

Very gentle and undisturbing.

Listen it on my livingroom-stereo, the track sounds
perfect. The song is relaxing in my ears. Like the little cuts you
are doing from time to time.

Sounds really nice on my AKG K240 mkII headphones. I usually use a couple of Mackie MR5 mkI and M-Audio BX-5 for monitoring. KRK is really nice to listen but gives too much extra hardness to the low end IMHO. That being said, I've loved every song you've released in WB and the mix sounded crispy and spacy.

Beatiful simple piano line, BTW. We were discussing speakers here and forgetting how dope you music actually is smile

Wow thanks everyone smile
I realize from the description it was just me shouting "DOES IT SOUND BAD!?" and nothing about the music.
But thanks for the vote of confidence.  My mind plays tricks on me and unfortunately listening to the early mix of this track, had the speakers in the car vibrating horribly so I panicked yikes
But hopefully I'll start to wrangle the mix a bit better and at least know that I'm not too far off from a decent sound.
Thanks again for your input and listening! smile
