Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Very nice as usual. I really like when the full sound kicks in after the more minimal parts. It gives it the feeling like it's really taking off. Nice melody as well.

yeah I realized it had a bit of Badlamenti influence going on thanks to the downhill repetitive melody. Love that show and music though

I was horrible in my Music Theory classes but I believe this should be it: (and this may be hard to read in tiny font but hopefully you get the idea)
The intro:
F9 (Notes: F, A, C, G) to Fmajor (F, A, C, F)
D9 (Notes: D, F, A, E) to Dm (D, F, A, D)
repeat
4 chord phrase: same 2 from above
F9-Fmajor
D9-Dm
Amin (2nd inversion right hand) to Cmajor (C, E, G, C)
Melody alternates between
fgfgfga
and the really repetitive part that a bunch of the instruments play
the downhill g,f,e,d
The part that is almost identical to Twin Peaks is from the main theme.
Also if you've never seen the show (which I recommend for the music alone) or heard Laura's theme, Moby's Go is basically using the same progression from Laura's theme.
