TSDT - The dean, the missing ones and the mysterious power (Chapter 8)

Hello.
In the eighth chapter of TSDT, our hero is taken away by fairies in their village, hidden in the temple where they are located.
When they arrive in this village, he realizes that it is almost abandoned. Here, the three fairies make him meet the only other villager, an old fairy, dean of the village. She tells him the sad story of this village, which was attacked by robotic monsters a few weeks ago. All the inhabitants of this village (except her and the other three fairies ) were removed and brought to the surface or killed.
At the end of the her story, she discovers the small plate that our hero found earlier in the temple. Surprised, she explains that it should be impossible to take it from the altar where he found it, and thus, a mysterious power should rest in the hands of our hero.
Then, she takes him to the village library in search of more information...
