Notes:
This song was created with a Pure Data patch I wrote interfaced to Ableton Live. I set up the same instruments I'd normally use, but instead of playing them with my MIDI keyboard the Pd patch sent the MIDI data. This song was recorded live with no post production or editing of any kind applied. All effects (including mastering) were pre-embedded into the Ableton session. All tweaks/fades were done by myself live during the recording and are not included in the Pure Data patch.

Nice work! I think it was a success.
The end is really, really cool. You made PD your bitch, this came out super well
This is lovely. Fancy sharing the patch? Either a screenshot or the actual pitch?
I'm impressed with how much control this has.
Thanks guys.
Vin: Sure, I can email you the patch. Keep in mind that did have some human control over the sound while it was recording. It's not ALL pd.
nawww.
and the photo too.
GO THURSDAYBLOOM. My cupcake this afternoon goes out to u
really nice
love that artwork! such a fantastic piece, really beautiful
This is really amazing. I love how the "organicness" of the piano and strings meshed so well with the glitchy synth drums. Fav'd for sure.
Nice, I really like the artwork.
Wow, impressive. Really cool track.
Thank you so much guys. I'm glad the way I made this track turned out so well and I'm glad you all enjoy the results.
Also, that is a photo I took of my cat, Isis, to use as the description for this track. I enjoy making the artwork equally as much as the music and it makes me happy that they're starting to get positive comments too ![]()
Really like the stereo panning on the drums as they come in. Very inventive percussion under those string arrangements. Great photo art as well!
this is fine stuff. wasn't aware of puredata, something that i'll be investigating, cheers. reckon puredata and op-1 hooked up to an oplab could be interesting...not that I have an oplab but still. Fantastic atmosphere towards the end too btw.
That worked well. I really like the end section. Very nice.
