Strong Beats

Another fun patch with experimental sounds. This week i wanted to experiment with Karplus-Strong style synthesis, using a delay pinged with noise to make a string-like sound. Turns out my delay is a little too long and dirty to pull it off as intended, but i liked the sounds i had put together around that and put together this performance with the Karplus-Strong voice devolved into a pad sound. I had a lot of fun performing this one, and there's a fair amount of knob fiddling during the performance, which is slightly unusual for me, especially on the kick sound.

Great writeup on the patch, and a very interesting fluttery lead you got going on there. Also, can hear the SMR doing it's SMR thing like it was shouting "I'M AN SMR DAWG LISTEN TO MY SINE WAVES"

nice progressive house sound. strong evolutions throughout the piece, I think the knob fiddling really paid off!

I really like this. Great to work to!

i had a feeling this was from a modular before i even read the description smile great work !

OH and bonus points for sharing the patch setup!

(Whoops, apologies for the content-free comment.)  Great patch--extremely musical, excellent depth to the sounds, and a neat setup.  Well done!

Nice work! Really dig the vibe on this. Cool writeup on your patch notes,
