Not a Tango

By theGuen on October 30, 2016 9:09 pm

This week there are more samples again mixed up with some synth voices...
I've startet with a Tango after listening to a beautyfull Version of libertango from streetmuscian.
Than I've noticed that the tango itself was way to domiant. I couldn't drag it away from sounding like "Gotan Project"
wich is not what I wanted. So I decided to take only tiny pieces for the Rythm. All in all I had a good week and finished this really quick.

As always, tips and suggestions are welcome! I try to improve.

Have a nice week!

There is still that hot tango feeling, that makes this track so special. I never heard a track with those kind of styles mixed up together, that is why I am positively surprised. The beat is cool as always, whish I could understand how you are doing this. Have a nice week.

Great mashup of styles! Love those vocal snippets.

Lots of great bits in this. Liking the vocal snippets too.

Like this, nice! The tango was very subtle, it worked.

Very cool and unusual rhythm.  Vocal samples are a nice touch as well.

Thanks alot man!!!

Nice work mixing the styles, I like how you used the vocal samples and the different sounds that keep coming in and out of the mix in the background

I really like this--the drum patterns have a lot of not-a-tango character.  Well done!

*slowly bobbing his head discreetly at work*

A touch of tango, while not being tango. Very effective, and a very catchy beat. Well done!
