Sorry, Wallace, You're Walking On Thin Ice

By The One Electronic on January 16, 2014 8:41 pm

Made my own personal challenge: once a note was placed, I was only allowed to change it until I took the cursor off the step.  It got incredibly tricky because I had to start preemptively figuring out the entire melody while improvising.

The middle part gets really messy because I fucked up a breakdown and decided to go all out and just make the craziest sounds I could think of.

Total work time: 3 hours

Wallace needs to watch out! The breakdown is sweet, should have made it go longer!

Yeah after I submitted it I was thinking that too.  I should probably spend an entire week on a track instead of single sessions!!

HAHA that middle part was super fun.  btw kudos on placing that restriction on yourself, that kind of limitation would totally stop me dead in my tracks smile

that is a tough limitation to put on yourself. i dont think i would be able to do it at all and wind up with a great sounding song like this

Hahaha, that breakdown is a blast! I agree that the crazy breakdown could be like a million times longer.
