Shift and React

By terraamb on August 31, 2014 11:47 pm

This is a piece put together to showcase the Pittsburgh Modular Chain Reactor LFO module. In all cases the Chain Reactor was allow to run rampant and wreak havoc on the filters while tracking. Glitchy, hairy, droney craziness. A tad over compressed but was running down to the wire for submissions so it is what it is. Enjoy.

Excellent sounds! Digging the high-resonance bass pulse, and the little echo of "Europe Endless" in the high voice, too.  The LFO is sounding pretty darned good, but those filters are really bringing it.  Awesome sequencer stuff on this one, as well!

Digital bubbles very cool sounds

Lovely...just lovely.

Pretty amazing work what you can accomplish with such setup. Your pieces have quite a personal touch always keeping the melodic side, no matter how much (great) noise... Really really inspiring, although I don't own a modular system.

Excellent...

P.S.: "Firebreather" still stays in my iPhone playlist as one of my favourite tracks of 2014

Thank you. Much appreciated! Been ramping up for a CD release so these little exercises help to workout where I'm going musically.
