The Story

By Sub Delay on September 21, 2014 4:52 pm

Started out fiddling around with a small string sample and after having spent quite a bit of time building up a groove, I realised it wasn't 100% on A440 pitch and tuning the Ableton clips somehow changed how they looped, so I ended up having to tune every instrument/recording I added after that up by 37 cents! big_smile

Note to self to look out for that next time...

Gotta love technical (tuning) timewasters.  hmm    Really enjoyed the warm quiet break in the second half!

Beautiful song.

Nice atmosphere--totally charming.

Amazing! Well worth it, the extra 37 cents makes it sound richer. 37¢ richer.

the contrast between the noisy lofi elements and the "open" strings/pads swirling around the head is absolutely gorgeous. I#m a huge fan of the breaks which seem to hold off the opening up of the song for a second. Wonderful composition and artistic choice of sounds. Can't help but simply adore your production style. Fantastic!

Beautiful!

I think that contrast gives it more pristine presence to those warm strings. Beautiful
