Recorded some sounds from an old wooden house in Sweden (creaking floors, wooden doors etc) to create the drumbeat and also had fun sampling this ancient hand cranked gramophone that was there.

This is just awesome. It sounds so rich and alive with the sampled sounds. I love the buildup. I'm a fan of your work. : )

Excellent use of samples and a musically very well structured track. Loved it!

There is so much power behin this. Fell in love from the first seconds. And the beginning of the piano/bass is unbelievable gorgeous. Fantastic!

To be honest I spent ages trying to figure out the structure and to me the "orchestral" last part still sounds a bit like it comes out of the blue, so I'm glad you liked it!

Super glad to hear this, I'm always looking forward to your tracks each week so it's a great honor hearing that kind of praise from you! big_smile

you capture your surroundings so well in your music - i love the inclusion of the photos with your posts. i would love to visit sweden someday... there seems to be a great deal of natural beauty, even in the winter months. when the bass kicks in about a third of the way through, such a fantastic moment. love the rests in the bassline too smile gives it great movement. whatever that sampled loop is, that was an amazing capture. keep up the amazing work smile

Lovely track!

Would love to hear what you can come up with! In fact, to make it easier I've put the stems on blend.io. It's the summed busses so not exactly all the parts split out but hopefully enough to play around with smile

I had to come back to this. I just love it. Soooo gooood.
