Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Recorded some sounds from an old wooden house in Sweden (creaking floors, wooden doors etc) to create the drumbeat and also had fun sampling this ancient hand cranked gramophone that was there.

To be honest I spent ages trying to figure out the structure and to me the "orchestral" last part still sounds a bit like it comes out of the blue, so I'm glad you liked it!

you capture your surroundings so well in your music - i love the inclusion of the photos with your posts. i would love to visit sweden someday... there seems to be a great deal of natural beauty, even in the winter months. when the bass kicks in about a third of the way through, such a fantastic moment. love the rests in the bassline too gives it great movement. whatever that sampled loop is, that was an amazing capture. keep up the amazing work
