Recreational Despot WB02

Using a similar technique from last week i tried to fill out the sound a bit more and create some more movement while still keeping the elements minimal.  I picked out two of my favorite samples from the prior week and pitch shifted and augmented them and then built in some midi instruments on top.  I watched my gf dance to figure out if the flow worked right lol.  She likes to hula hoop.  I came in at maybe an hour and 10 minutes including the export and such.  20 minutes picking samples and messing around with sounds, 10 minutes setting up the chains, 10 minutes resampling with sidechains, 20 minutes mixing and leveling.  a quick 3 minute master and export big_smile

Like the shiffting rhythms. Time well spent, I'd say.

I really like the pad instruments and the varied kick rhythms. Lovely heart

Nice bass and atmosphere. Somehow it does sound very recreational yikes

Great-sounding kick and bass...and I like that little pulse at the top. I could see someone hula-hooping to this!

Wow, very impressed with your time management smile Nice groove!

Detroit children surely would hulla hop with this smile
