Take Wing Great Protector

I had an idea about using a VST's sample library in Kontakt rather than in their native VST to see if I could pull a little more control and character out of the sounds. It seemed to be working so I created a molasses-like atmosphere of drones which builds up a couple times throughout the song. I've enjoyed zoning out to this one so I'd consider it a success.

I also named the song after my uncle who passed away last night, I took the meanings of his two given names and stuck 'em together, seems appropriate for the track.

Enjoy!

Very nice, which sample library are the sounds from?

Thanks! The samples are from Puremagnetik's Microtron, there's a couple packs of old Mellotron samples. It's pretty neat stuff with little imperfections and whatnot.

Some really sweet drones here.  Very easy to zone out to, and the gif you chose is perfect.  Sorry to hear about your uncle, but this track is an excellent tribute to him.

Downloaded.  This is absolutely gorgeous.  I can practically feel the energy of your uncle transcending in this beautiful piece of music.  RIP

A really calming track.  It reminded me a bit of some of Moby's older ambient tracks.  Really enjoying your music!

Really well produced.  Love the chord movements and textures within.

Such a beautiful piece.

Sorry about your loss. This piece it's really appropiate to honour passed ones.
