Gear: iPad Mini 2 running Korg Gadget
Ideas going in: I was humming a progression in the shower and really liked it, so I went and got Korg Gadget out and started with that. So often I end up letting some kind of arpeggio line lead the song, melodically, so this time I tried for a real lead line over some solid arpeggios.
Reflection afterwards: I really like how this turned out. I got a couple people to listen to it for me and help me with dynamics and such, and I'm super proud of what it became.

Gadget goodness. Great momentum.

Driving, feel-good beat!

Love that vibrato synth and the 8th bass. Reminds me of Christian Bruhn soundtracks from the 80s (in a good way). The bassdrum kicks very nicely.

Good stuff!

Really cool driving bassline that bounces off the synth melody & arps.  The drums sound excellent too.  Nice job!

Thanks for all the kind words, you guys! Love to hear things that affirm my intent going into the song like "great momentum" and such. I'm really pleased with this latest one, and I'm so glad you are too

This one sounds very energetic and driving. I'm playing this while running on a rainy day in south Spain, man, and it gives me quite an energy boost.

Some of the best stuff I've heard in weeks, IMHO smile
