Wanna Dance

Kind of NY style house piece. Normally I'll have a pretty traditional approach to arrangement but this week I decided to just play the track "Live" and trigger all the parts and see how it feel together. The main reason was that I was a bit bored with the trad route, the other, more important reason, is that I felt it lost a bit of the vibe in the transition. So it's a bit messy in parts but I feel a bit happier with the feel, and quite like the 'mistakes'. As always comments appreciated.

Love the way it builds. Triggered by Push or something similar?

Love this, those chords are fantastic and the piece has a really great mood. Awesome job!

Thanks, Jim. It was actually done with me pointing and clicking on the clips to do the first pass and then neatening it up afterwards. It's actually made me more keen to get the Push now, as I think that would have been much better.

Thanks, I thought the mood felt better having recorded it in vs arranging. Glad you like it.

Wonderful contrast with that mighty kick and gentle pads/organ lines.  Damn!
