Half-Time Show

By RawTicks on June 24, 2014 8:18 pm

A really short track reflecting the time I spent on it... I tried some experiment with the modular, namely trying to modulate the amplitude of a drone with a smoothed out waveform of a beat, but unfortunately the results weren't up to my expectations and kept only a small part of it (the synth sequence). Oh well. I need a break.

Sweet! Since it was short, I played it twice wink

sooo tasty! Love those clean glitchy chops and the modulated synth. Would love to achieve this kind of quality, too. Aphex style!!!

ooohhh  . .,. ,acid.    a guud tripp .. like this yes°‚·

There's some wacky goodness in here. Nice!

Fun!

Nice, early warp records sound, love the creepy synth

Great aphex wibe, but this should be longer!!

Squarepushed would approve, definetely.

love the percussive glitchy feel in this!

I enjoyed this half-time show! Hope you & more music are coming back after the break!

thanks! yeah I'm not sure I'll be back yet... the two last songs really felt like homeworks (and some before that). Also, I'm working on many projects these days, and have less time to work on weekly tracks unfortunately, even though one of those project is music related (I appreciate having the time to work on it properly). I have learned so much during my 26 week passage here, 26 tracks later (which is about 24 more than the usual year) and I'm really glad I made it this far. Maybe I'll pop a tune here and there in the next few weeks we'll see. Anyway, thanks for the kind words, I enjoyed your tracks too!

A very late thanks to all of you guys, thank you for listening to my craziness each week, know that I listened to every track of the 26 first weeks and that I really enjoyed doing so. Like I said in my previous post, the last few weeks I was here have been difficult, making music felt like homeworks which I didn't want to do, but did anyway to not cut the streak. I had some very frustrating and tiring moments in my life and needed to relax a bit and put the fun back in music making. I might pop here from time to time, maybe upload the occasional track too.  For now I wish you the best success in your creation, you are a talented bunch!
