Busy week and not a lot of time to work. I'm still exploring rhythmic vocoding, but didn't get to go as deep as I had hoped for this one.

Intriguing concept: what's the basic idea with the vocoder?

Like it so far. Hope, there is more time
for your vocoderproject this week.

Thanks! I'm still working with the vocoder, although I held off for the last 2 weeks. I'll have to get back on it.

I've been using rhythm samples/loops as the carrier signal for the vocoder (rather than speaking or singing). I use multiple loops and layer them together in various combinations. Sometimes together into one vocoder, and others distributed over numerous vocoders. The result is a composite rhythm that plays the harmonic/chord material. The use of multiple vocoders and rhythms creates a more varied chord atmosphere that is a bit more unpredictable.
