The Towers

The final track. And probably my longest track of 2016.
Drum machine (TR-505) with various effects, KaossPad 3, mainly acoustic piano, a few added notes with Pianoteq and Absynth.
By now this feels like a standard setup that I've used forever, although I had never used acoustic piano in my music before March 2016. But then again that is almost 40 Weeklybeats weeks ago. What a year it has been.

Hope to hear more of all your music whereever it might be found in 2017, and hope to see you all back here for a WB in 2018!

Beautifully meditative / contemplative, with a slight ominous edge.

40 Weeklybeats — that's a life-time!

Epic with moments of peace and ominousness.  Good luck with your future endeavors and hope to hear your stuff in 2018!

What you call a standard setup seems to be the perfect gear for increadible minimalistic ambient music with lots of rooms and passion the way you play it. I enjoyed every track so far. Thank you. Until 2018.

Wow, this track has carried me away... far far away!
The accustic Piano in your tracks is always great... keep it!

See you in 2018

I've totally been swept out to sea here. Beautifully disturbing.

Awesome epic space between the piano and percussion.  Those chords hit me right in the chest.  Loved your music this year!  I hope you have a great 2017 and look forward to seeing ya back in 2018! smile
