Trying to do a track that's more driven by the bass line than my tracks usually are, I realize how much I miss playing with bass players who could instantly come up with great bass lines for any music you threw at them. I guess I have something to work on here.

I hear ya on the bassist thing. I always feel like mine come off as not bass-like with the feel and rhythm. This has a good driving bass feel with the piano adding to the overall atmosphere of the track. Nice work!

this is really good, could be a soundtrack, mood track or installation, downtempo electronica, etc. it's versatile, familiar, yet pretty dark sounding.
