Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

Nice contrast between brutal beats/bass and harp plucking! And yeah, I totally hear you with the wishing you had more time. I find WB is like a sketchbook. You end up with lots of... well, sketches.

Y'know what - I could moan... but I am actually so greatPhil... because... I'm a bit rubbish at completing things and if it weren't for the social pressure of checking in with the weekly beats mandem every week I don't think I'd deliver...

plus its really inspiring to hear all the different styles shared here... lutes... trippy vocal processing... and that strange sense of excitement when one hopes to be acknowledged with a gif from ipaghost...


anyway - I got this big book of the collective works of Leonardo Da Vinci - it's mostly sketches and plans and ideas and workings out - which then later contributed to his bigger scale compositions - so I think by the end of the year we should have some stuff to develop on...

plus I can hear incremental improvements all across the board as the weeks go on....
