Stop the clock

Unfortunately I was really short of time this week. As a "byproduct" of last weeks song i played a bit with my guitar, a cello bow and some instances of guitar rig and kind of liked some of the outcomes, at least it was enough for some drones.  So i played some fast piano chords over it and added some noise. It's not an absolutely thrilling track but sometimes a little bit of Ambient doesn't hurt smile

Beautiful!

Wow, serious rollercoaster of different emotional spaces here, but moving through at a glacial speed...lovely sensation thanks! Gorgeously complex yet sparse smile

my neck broke cuz it was staring way too hard. Such a lush atmosphere and space. Just climbed up to yggdrasil and wants to say hello

Really nice textures and atmospheres.

Excellent composition!

Just beautiful! I really like how it starts out kind of turbulent and then settles into a glacial and precarious peacefulness. very, very nice.

wow the piano that cuts into the mix is friggin beautiful! cfurrow's mention of "glacial" is a good description.  Maybe because i just recently watched the Chasing Ice documentary (which i recommend).  Then how the drones slow dance around the piano is even better.  It was a thrill for me! smile  Well done!

Sounds like you had a the time in the world -- really nicely done.

Wonderful textures, and sombre atmosphere like a beautiful prelude to something even more grandiose.

Beautiful.  Exquisitely drifty.

whaaaaa what an ode to all our ears!

you bastard stole that chello stick on guitar thing from somewhere on the internet! wink

thank you so much! And well, the bowed guitar thing is not exactly the hottest shit in town :-) but i knew it from bands like Sigur Ros which use it for wonderful textures and drones. it was more of a try if i can get those kind of sounds without extensive guitar playing skills nor hardware rig.

Beautiful textures, and the piano complements them perfectly. A little bit of ambient never hurts for me.

Big open spaces. Beautiful!

What an atmosphere here dude..

super visceral track, huge textures

Nothing wrong with ambient  smile

A great blend on timbres.  Works very well!  I miss my bow which died years ago.  I really should replace it.  hmm...
