This week's entry originates from a collab with my good friend grëdn, who contributed a nice poppy riff and melody on acoustic guitar (you can hear it starting at about 2:00). Everything else was built around these recordings afterwards. I was in the mood of following a rather sonically acoustic route this week. Some background drones and pads were achieved by fiddling around and decomposing the recorded guitar samples in Samplr on the iPad. And i tried my luck with some orchestration. Although i have no knowledge of proper orchestration at all it was great fun to play around with the libraries of Ableton and Kontakt (nothing special, just the standard ones). Big thanks once again to grëdn for playing the guitar!

Hope you guys enjoy this week's approach!

man...

you are knocking it out of the park at the moment!

Beautiful composition!

So sublimely elegant! Love the noise at the start and how it metamorphosis's into an orchestra and then how the whole vibe lifts and builds!!! (sighs... (smil
es)

Very fun-fair! Love the plucked and arco basses. Well done, well done!

Really beautiful! I think you nailed it!

really great! listened to WB in the background and didn't even think this was from the PerplexOn guy until I peaked in the browser window. cheers mate!

This is excellent. You have a way of creating wonderful "airy" mixes, despite the many layers and sounds. Great work...once again;)

Love the warbly bells in the beginning! Very pretty movement and I love the composition. Dreamy and wonderful

Brilliantly composed, really like how it progresses until it ends up with 'the full orchestra'. Great track!

did not foresee the orchestra vibe! nice change, and stunningly executed!

wondrously epic

Really tasteful use of 'deconstructed' sound, electronics and acoustic instruments.
Also love the giant smooth pads blended with the bright timbres. downloaded +faved etc etc etc big_smile

The orchestration is really nice and the whole thing has such an upbeat playful vibe, it's hard not to feel happy while listening.

Thank you so much mates! Your feedback is very well-respected!!!

This is very, very beautiful!  Excellent orchestration, and quite moving!  (I enjoyed the dry large-hall reverb, but I'm the kind of person who gets moved by reverb.)

WOAH! This is big, beautiful, cinematic and epic! Great, great job! smile

oh man that synth pad that comes in towards the middle with the guitar is friggin EPIC! I try not to use that word often, but holy cow!  Oh there's the brass!  Really love how it picked up and then took the dramatic change.  The string riffs really keep this together.  Totes Faved!  Awesome job!  (dang that brass is killer!)
