Fragment

After some rather mellow tracks the last two weeks i tried to make something more tricky this week. The inital idea was to melt some uneven beats and fragile piano and mangle it a bit. But once again i really get myself into trouble by loosing the focus while working on too many different sites at the same time. Bringing all these little ideas together and developing a balanced track was almost impossible. Next time i really have to start earlier to limit myself. :-) Hope it's enjoyable for you guys nevertheless!

Ooh nice...the beats have such a great flow and dynamicism to them, which is some achievement considering the intricacy of the glitch in you've got going on here! The piano is sweet too, haunting little clips...fav'd wink

that beat is SICK! great song mate!

Awesome beat!  The intro is intensely disorienting--great stuff!

love that squelchy 303ish bass with the beat!  The horns add a nice touch.  I like how every sound is dancing around each other.  This reminds me a bit of Plaid's progression with some tracks.  Those deep bassy string hits towards the end are sweet and I like how it glitched out.  Well done! smile

very inspiring new stuff this week!

Bring on that funky noise! Don't worry; these glitchy beats are enjoyable as hell! :-)

I'm feeling a Prefuse 73-esque vibe. I like it a lot!

Great stuff - love the distorto-lead that sporadically appears.

Mind blown into Fragments (again)! This is most excellent. Beautiful graphics as well (again). Are these your designs?

cool!

Fragment indeed.  Hehe...  Solid mix and some great ideas in there.

Great track! Love how the fragments work together to make a very listenable totality.

Your wb page is one of my favorite destinations every week!

Awesome love the glitch!

Amazing stuff! Unexpected at every turn. I like the way you create uncharted rhythms. Great, great track!

Thank you so much! Yes, graphics are selfmade. I try to make one each week that fits the mood of the song.

You are so great, guys! This kind of creative feedback is the reason I'm coming back each week! Thanks a lot!

I'm glad you like it! Honestly i didn't know Prefuse 73 before but just had a listen and it's the shit! big_smile Thanks for the tip!

Very very good. Enjoyed this immensely!

Awesome track, there is so much going on but it doesn't sound messy.  Also the artwork is great, I didn't realize you made those yourself.
