cancer ward

Prior to week 1 I decided i'd like to do 10 submissions that were more atmospheric and/or sound track.  I'd like to incorporate some of these elements into future songs at some stage.  As a matter of fact one of the weeks has become a new verse for a track written for weekly beats 2014 that needed something extra.  So something has been learnt from all of this (although still didn't scratch the surface of what i wanted to learn/achieve.  there's plenty more weeks to go)

Next 10 weeks shall be songs containing basic elements of acoustic/electric and vocals and maybe some extra embellishments.

You could do worse than listen to Philip Glass, if you've not already. This is like... fast minimalism, heh. Nicely done though.

I can see why you recommended Philip glass as I've somehow been channeling him!!  I liked it a lot.

I really like minimalism although I've always somehow gone overboard.  Need to reign myself in.

Well the title speaks to me because I'm in the cancer ward of a children's hospital quite a bit (work)... I always find it difficult to put that experience in music. Would be curious to hear if you have a connection to the topic?
