Wildebeest

Pushed my computer right to the edge with this. It was fun to do and came together very early on in the week. I had a lot of trouble bouncing it - the comp would either lock up or write pops/clicks on the file. It's pretty similar to what I've done in the past. The mix is a bit murkier and less clear than I'd like but it's given me an idea for some dark ambient stuff down the track.

More like Wildbest wink

What DAW you using that it's locking up and clicking?!!!  I gotta put a plug in for Reaper.  Solid as a rock - even on a netbook with 30 - 40 tracks with effects.  Great atmosphere in this tune :-)

Pro Tools - it's really strange. I think it's a plug-in memory thing but it always seems to happen at exactly the same point in the track, and in spots where you wouldn't expect it. I've never had that problem with sessions working with lots of audio   plug-ins

This is lovely! I like the murkiness of it--I think it works well here.

sounds like it might be overcompressed? dunno, but this issue sounds similar to issues I get on my computer when I'm running many different vst's

nice.
