I was trying to do a kind of orchestral thing but the brass patches mostly sounded awful and I was in way over my head, not knowing how to arrange music like that. Then I was running out of time. I was excited about it at first but it turned out pretty badly. It was originally like a Sufjan Stevens meets Pharoah Sanders thing. I also didn't quantize the beat - it didn't work out here but I'll stick with that next time if it works for the track

Yeah, don't be so hard on yourself, this is really cool. It has a nice tongue in cheek feel about it. It reminds me of the soundtrack for the recent film 'Accidents Happen', which is worth listening to for almost silly orchestral compositions ![]()

Yeah I like this a lot as it is. Needs more time, and yeah a little polishing, but keep this base concept cause its good.

I totally disagree about this turning out badly - you should listen to it again in a few days with fresh ears because it sounds great. My only complaint is that it's not long enough.
