This is actually one of the first electronic pieces I ever composed.  Probably around 2005?  I composed it in Reason.  I did some mastering on it today, but I think I could have made it louder.  It has a lot of "intentional clipping" sounds, so it is hard to master.  I can't tell if I like this song or not because it's been playing in the back of my mind for over a decade.  Time to release it!

I'm releasing my WB content publicly!  You can follow along at https://soundcloud.com/orangedrink/sets/music-mondays and http://facebook.com/hemlockdrew.  I have a fun monthly email newsletter as well, you can sign up at the bottom of http://orangedrinkmusic.com .  Thanks for all of your support, it really means a lot to me!

Nice 80s bass! Would be right at home in Bionic Commando, or Contra

Somehow I feel like that record has the sickest breakcore music ever.

Wow!  Never thought of it like that but it really fits Contra in my minda (and I LOOOOVE that game)

it reminds me of some the stuff my friends and i used to come up with when we first started making electronic music, pretty cool

Nice... like an electro punk song...
I really could imaginge the text in a "the exploited" like voice.

Pretty damn impressive for "one of the first."

Marilyn! That's no way to handle a record!

This song could be a beasty boys release unknown. Respect.

Love the driving feel on this one.  Very impressive for a first attempt at electronica.

Mastering sounds ok to me. Nice big driving beat. Great first outing!!!!

kickin', would work super well in an old Doom game XD

Yes, nice E-Punk smile

Heavy banging! I did a DJ night once called Show Us Your Hits. I actually let people bring a record and I'd (usually) throw it on. Most people just drank and listened which is OK too.

Very cool driving bass, and as others have noted: quite impressive to be one of the first attempts!

Thanks everyone!  Love the idea of e-punk or this being related to the video game DOOM.  Maybe an Atari Teenage Riot vibe here, yes?  Thanks for listening everyone, I'm trying to get caught up with everyone's tracks as well! heart
