Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

The re-emergence of my yoctonaut project. I composed and performed it in BleepBox on iOS in various bits of spare time during the week, and I recorded it into Ableton Live, where I applied a bit of editing. Brief, but perhaps to the point. (Maybe the ending's a bit too sudden. It was a busy week. The full title is "Tiny Birthday to You," since it's my birthday.)

Thanks! If you have an iOS device, I totally recommend Bleep!BOX. 10-voice synth--no samples, so you're going to have to tweak everything to your liking. You can do an envelope-following pitch change, for extra attack on the front of a percussion hit. Lots of stuff is semi-automatable. Great little app.

Thanks! On this track ("tbty") it's all the bleep!BOX synth on iOS. But on the "Triangles" it's Moog Guitar, which has a bunch of sustaining hardware. It's going through the Big Muff in places, too, for extra Frippiness.
