Worm Versus Math

By NWSPR on May 15, 2016 11:58 pm

The imaginary book title in a series "Who Would Win" that my son asked for today.  See Hornet Vs. Wasp.

Unrelated to worms, math and books, I went to see Gary Numan perform at the Gramercy Theater in NYC last Tuesday so he has influenced this week's song. Amazing show!

So, back to another new wave track this week with the addition of some real bass guitar.  Some guitar sounding riffs also played on the bass. Lots of synthesizer from the KingKorg. Would have added vocals but want to spend more time on it.

Does a great job of capturing the new wave feel.  Catchy and upbeat it makes me bob my head involuntarily.  smile

That Newage sound!  Totally holds :-D  That guitar makes it.  Add some emo euro vocals and instant hit.

I love it, a proper throwback homage!  I completely agree with cTrix above, some period vocals would be the icing on the cake!

P.S. I'm a big fan of that ending smile

Mr Roboto smile
Beautiful, 80´s are back

Are u a numanoid? Hope he sung "are friends electric" and played "down in the park" on piano smile

Great Tubeway Army feel on this one smile You captured the feel, the energy and the production perfectly. Love that raw string bass tightening everything together
