Syncyopatience

My first LSDJ track of the year! The last 6 weeks have greatly helped me refresh my DAW chops, but now it's time to move on to re-learning LSDJ. This song is short and meant to repeat forever. The beat is really funky, so not really gonna be a performance piece, but I tried some new things - I used E commands a lot more than usual, I have some echo effects which I think are cool, and the second half uses a doubled lead which is kind of cool. Also using a new noise snare.

These are all tricks that my buddy Skybox has been showing me - I think I could maybe try a new sound/trick each week in LSDJ, while also trying to make interesting and different tracks (like how the beat in this one is so funky).

Anywho, enough of me blabbing, thanks for listening, and feedback is always welcome!

Impressive

Enjoyed it! Definitely impressive for a 2 hour ride in your spare time. (I read the sound cloud description). Trying a new technique each week will definitely get your skills sharpened.

Thanks guys! Hopefully I have more time this week for another LSDJ track, but even with limited time, it's nice to try new things smile

Great track!

I hope soon to compose in LSDJ! heart
