Some Title Screen

By nikola on March 27, 2016 1:54 pm

My second song written in Pulsar for the NES - still using an emulator, I probably won't be able to use a real NES for a month or two sad This time around I was able to write the track pretty quickly - no need to stare at the Pulsar manual all day! I even made some half-way decent leads. Still, the song is short and not terribly ambitious, just flexing muscles here. Nice for a title screen or something though.

Cool little piece! Lots of stuff going on!  One thing you might want to look at is the channel balance--there's stuff in the right channel, but most of it seems to be happening in the left. Still, very cool muscle-flexing piece.

Thanks!!! And ya, the recording was way off balance between left and right. I recorded it in stereo from a computer running an emulator which is kind of lame, but since NES audio is mono anyways, I shouldn't try to record my emulator in stereo... And I guess I was lazy - there is really no reason why I couldn't fix the balance ><'.

Slippery and jazzy... nice work!
