Ghost Baby Dub

By miraclemiles on July 24, 2016 9:44 pm

This started out as a long spacey jam with guitar player, and part of that remained in the middle section. As I started editing and playing around, I still have reggae/dub vibe on the brain, so it ended up being more of that. It almost got to be a Cowboy Dub (CBD), but I cut a guitar part that had country twang, I'll save that for later. Turned some of my spaced out chanting I did during jam into a pitched up vocal that comes in a few times, and kind of sounded ghostly, like a ghost baby maybe, and I'm heading out the door to see Ghostbusters now, so Ghost Baby Dub it will be.

Nice funky junkie

In did it sounds like some kind of ectoplasmic dubby baby... Now you tell us if the new Ghostbusters is any good. I'll waait dancing to this weird groove

Tight! Love the tremolo guitar and weird vocals.

Dubby goodness! Well done!

Thanks! new Ghostbusters had me laughing a lot and was pretty good overall, I'd recommended checking it out. There was even a baby reference in there, forgot details, but I smiled about that.

Yeah, the pitched up vocal is awesome, and the whole track is a lot of fun.  Nice job.
