Progression

One of my biggest weaknesses as a producer is that I basically learned everything by just kinda fucking around without any real guidance or outside feedback. There's been too many points where I've put up a track, then someone says "hey why don't you do X it'll make everything sound better" and I'd reply with "holy shit, I didn't know X even existed".

So, I've started the slow, laborious process of relearning everything I know from scratch to figure out what I'm missing, production-wise, and fill in the gaps. Here's me following a bunch of tutorials and building some really basic EDM. Worked a bunch with sampling drum noises and mixing those samples, then building a bassline out of complementary stacked synths.

"As ye fool around, so shall ye learn." Works for me, seems to work for you as well!

Pleasantly surprised by the abrupt ending.

I think your songwriting skills are very solid, so it's maybe a matter of improving some of the production values (basically because you say so.. I've been following your tunes since previous WB editions and they never sounded "weak" at all to me)
