Continuing to grind through tutorials, trying to figure out how to make things sound right. I put a little bit more effort into actually structuring a song around it, but it's still pretty bare-bones.

Grindy, dirty bits on that sawtooth--awesome!  I also really like the way you handle the beats in the intro--partial or odd measures? 

Your build from the hesitant beginning is superb. Wish the whole piece was longer...

Thanks! The synth pattern at the start of the song is just a whole bunch of dotted eighth notes, forming a pretty basic polyrhythm. It sounds like it's got a weird meter to it because there's nothing else going on to ground it to the underlying 4/4 time. (I love polyrhythms and will cram them into literally everything I can.)

You make excellent melodies and a lot of great synth programming. Very reminescent of your chiptune style but with some personal twist. I'm really diggin' it
