Marble Walls

Tried something very different for the final week. Decided to write a coldwave/shoegaze/post-punk tune inspired by bands like Black Marble, Twin Shadow, and Life of Angels.

I like it.

Cool! I really like that delayed texture thing smile Nicely done dude!

The groove is pretty good. I like the way the melodies are done, especially that synth one that played Melody Part 2. The super reverie parts of the chorus add some cool pads underlying the whole thing. Verse 2 having more percussion is a great touch. I would have liked to hear more melodic variations in this section as well, maybe more grace notes or some busting out to match the uptempo shakers. The minimalistic drop was so well timed and it leads into a pretty fun B section. I maybe would have liked a cool solo or some scrappy sounds or something there, I think that's an opportunity. Nice work.

Thanks dude! Kind of wild to see new comments on stuff after not being on here for ages.
