Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Bit of a development of my tune from a couple of weeks ago - a simple synth jam, but also an attempt to get a quasi-generative thing going in Ableton. Working like this is quite addictive!

Are you using follow actions with different filter settings? It indeed feels generative. Quite hipnotic
Yeah, it's basically four channel of MIDI clips (each with a single note in it) with random follow actions routed to the Polysix VST with the arpeggiator on. Then again with another three channels routed to the strings. Switch it on, and off it goes - I tweak the filters as it records! Bingo.
