This week I finally bought Native Instruments' Monark, having somewhat bought into the hype about it being the most accurate Minimoog emu ever. Fortunately it's pretty good, so this is me kicking the tyres with it in the only way I know how - a seven minute Tangerine Dream style one-take no-edits trance out. In truth, not my greatest work, and the mix is especially horrible, but it proves the point - this is a pretty awesome synth.

i feel the same way about the monark. was prepared to be disappointed but actually wasn't.
nice flow in this track, very smooth, a little captain future (you know?)
