Little Gestures

More Volcas! This time a bit of arctic ambience with just the Bass and Keys. Recorded live in one take, with a bit of reverb and EQ.

I did some creative MIDI routing with Ableton to make this track - basically patched up my MIDI keyboard to play the bass with the left hand and keys with the right, effectively making a four voice polysynth with super-chunky low end. Quite a satisfying way of playing these boxes!

Love it. So atmospheric! Also it's really nice to read your processes, thanks for that.

Reminds me of Para one's Naissance des Pieuvres... I would love to hear more of this, very soothing and I have all kind of melodies spawning in my head

This is definetely a new take on the Volcas. Nice composition and also kudos to take those boxes out of the typical "jam over one bar" internally sequenced stuff. Beautiful
