this week I decided to go a little less "groovy". same bpm, almost same kind of groove but a more relax vibe.

The swelling bass really works well with this track. Stutter edits are very nicely spaced and placed. Melody works really well. Great track.

Yes, the bass really makes it. Faved!

The intro synth line is really great! More reverb on the drums (specially the snare) would really give the track a sense of space. There is some verb on some hits, but I would like more of it more often. It's just my opinion though. I like the funky parts. Nice track!

Thanks, man! For the stutters I usually do a sort of random process, and then choose and edit each one individually. It is time consuming, but it gives the best results.

Thank you for the compliment and for the opinion! You are absolutely right, I actually had a lot more reverb on the snare, but got afraid and pulled it back. I guess I need to trust my verbs wink

The groove is strong in this track. The feel of the track is very cyberpunk-ish and every element totally works with each other. Great work. big_smile

Yes. Especially when you are also Motoko Kusanagi. (Love this)

Oh yes. Lovely progressions and lovely blips.

This would be great for a science montage in an 80s flick

Really nice beefy bass in there!  I like the space in between the clap/snare and the synths and how you used the reverb too.  Nice job!

carambis! paguei pau de novo.

man I've had wb on the background for sometime now... I had to put down my pen for this. wd

I'm really feeling connected to that "hip hop" use of that almost Tangerine Dream-ish synth line. You showed me I should strum my hammonds a little more often smile

Really clever use of the samples. Loving this one

Sorry, meant strum/glitch my (virtual) rhodes smile

Thank you so much! Although I didn't get the quote, it seems like an appropriate vibe wink

It is the power of the Juno! Everything you play on it takes you to the 80s.

Thank you! The bass is made with a DSI Mopho, which is incredibly beefy indeed. Love this little synth.

I was never a hiphop fan, but I started listening to a lot of beat makers and it really changed the way I make music. Also, changed my preferred tempo to 95bpm wink
I have to be quite careful with my Rhodes. Everything I record with it sounds so good that I want to slice and glitch everything up.

It's not a quote, unless you quote me; it's just the atmosphere I got from it. It's the Rhodes that does it.

Great track! Digging all your tracks actually. Nice work.

Thank you so much! I was listening to this one today, it is probably one of my favourites so far.
