brush it off

I'm starting to feel due for a break from the Monomachine, so I tried a few other things, but in the end momentum won out. This one is pretty mellow although I get some dark chords going in the 2nd quarter that I think I want to reuse for something a little more aggressive.

The wheedly high end sound actually isn't supposed to sound how it does in the first part (there's a bug with the MnM transposition) but I thought it was kind of funny that way so I just left it.

Totally digging the beat and muted synth trumpet line and huge bass.  Super nice piece.

reminds me slightly of Zeiss Contarex. but mostly i like the melody you let it all fall into 2/3rds of the way in, and the nice twisty outro. plus i'm a firm proponent in all things that sound brassy in electronic music, it's just not used enough. smile

love the mood, dirty bass heart

Thanks guys smile

It's interesting that I'm gravitating toward these brass sounds. I don't even think of them as brass when I'm working on them.

Great pacing and sound pallet on this one. Nice sampling of the spectrum of sounds possible with digital FM.

ah man this is pretty much the type of sound/vibe I want to have for my Shadowrun Themed side project!
