This one should be a soundtrack for one of my CGI animations. Volca Keys, Arturia microBrute and Ableton Live 9. Trying to make a good Berlin School drone atmospehere, I'm actually too sleepy to write a proper introduction smile

Hope yoy relax and enjoy

Thanks! It should be online on Vimeo soon... I'll post a link once it's ready!

This has a great hook in that ostinato!  Very nice variations, too!  (Part of me wants to hear drums on this--it might be worth experimenting with if you hear it that way.)  Well done!

very very enjoyable drones! Out of interest, is the volca beat doing the resonated drums?

Resonanated drums?!? Well, yes... It's really just two layers of Volca Keys, with no particular effect or resonator. Maybe some analog guitar chorus, if I remember correctly. I got that "wonky" beat messing with the LFO filter modulation out of sync from the main clock. The internal delay of the Korg it's also used, tuned by ear, again. Took a few tries but if you hear "resonated drums" then I got the rhythm part right smile

Thanks for listening, by the way !!!

I created two layers, with very similar adjustments but

i see! thanks a lot! Since you wrote volca beats above i thought they were resonated afterwards or so. But you ment the volca keys, right?

Ja, genau! I stand corrected, thank you smile

I have none of these tools you're talking about. they sound to me like some latin definition of muscle groups in an elephants butt. but you surely do gorgeous stuff with them!
