Continuing with my science fiction themed stream, this one will hopefully open a future EP where the story of a ship receiving an unknown distress transmission  is detected, along with the whole trip and adveture ahead smile

Right now I'm on vacation visiting San Francisco, CA, so not much music making and/or computer time. Hope you dig this simple tune built using some Doepfer modular and indecent amounts of filtering and automation.

Hope you get my signal! Have a great week

Enjoyed this a lot. Thanks for finding time to write this while on vacation. It's so soothing. Enjoy San Fran!

Hey! thank you Alphaglitch! I miss having some time to listen to the rest of the music, though. It's been a great visit so far

This is superb. Thanks so much.

Receiving loud and clear. Lovely stuff.

That GIF's amazing! Very Blade Runner-esque! Thanks for being there every week, Rodger. Do you know who's the artist?

Thanks Sinewave. Glad you're on my frequency. Hope to post a little more space epic this year

Very nice, great buildup and massive swells of sound, wish I was in San Francisco, make sure to make a trip to Amoeba records

Thanks Jason. I'm planning a whole EP of cosmic stuff like these, departing a little bit from my usual downtempo/hip hop stuff. Not sure if I'll be able to visit Amoeba before leaving, but it's indeed on my wishlist.

Anyway, I found "The Last Starfighter" OST on vinyl on Groove Records, near Castro smile

This track is brilliant. It is beautifully chilling and spacy. Used to listen to some records like this in the 90ies.

Very nice! Really enjoying your space tracks, looking forward to the next one

Although I've been listening to ambient music for ages, making these kinds of tracks is relatively new to me, so I'm glad you like it, Q-Rosh. Keep an eye on the next week release

Thank you Plaintrain! I'm preparing a new one for the next week... Maybe this could become an EP

Ahhh great!

like waves from the pacific. amazing. breathing. would be great for a yoga retreat, too (I mean that in a good way) i guess it's ironic you're in the US while I'm in Europe.

Well, I'm already back, mate! It's great to see you interacting again. Hope you're more settled now. Feel free to use in any yoga activity you find suitable (guess it could be some stylish "salute to the sun", huh?).

Fun fact: my family finds it a little bit unnerving because of the high frequencies, so do my cats smile

mmm that's sad I don't think I hear those frequencies any more...

Nice work, those high frequencies gave me a nice visual of the pod bay doors opening and a trail of smoke and sparks emitting from the edges smile
