Aliasing

Warning: Loud/noisey.

I thought I would try something different this week. Instead of using audio software to generate audio, I thought I'd try out some direct byte manipulation in the terminal and pipe out the audio using sox as a means of improvising.

It's not purely terminal, though. I did edit/master in Pro Tools, mainly just truncating the longer silences, high-passing out the big DC offsets and a little bit of EQ and limiting.

Clever manipulation; I feel like someone/something has been tampering with my neural circuits. ::)

I used to love doing this on Windows - open an executable file as a raw wave file, and start processing from there; that random element is beautiful.
