Arms Akimbo & Needles Tousay

By Jim Wood on July 28, 2016 11:05 pm

Vocals: SmoJos "Funk You" (http://ccmixter.org/files/SmoJos/53183), occasionally Paulstretched. Floaty instrumental beds: chopped convolution reverb tails from Alter Ego "Daisy" vocals

Very good as always but a much darker tone this week. The last third is great.

I agree with GrainBastard.
Great work!

Gotta agree.  It ends very strongly.  It's nice and "out there" but not so much as to be alienating.

In the future, all my songs will consist of the last third, repeated 3 times. ::)

Thank you, gentlemen!

Love the texture and feel of the vocals. I need to check out paulstretch! smile

Ghostly awesomeness over here! Nice work!

Sounds great with your eyes closed and headphones, agree with others great progression to the track to the strong finish

Really nice, like the vocal cut ups and pads

Ghostly and good. The last part is the perfect ending for this track.

Thank you all for your kind comments!

I love Paulstretch although I haven't used it in a long time.  Always felt clunky to use.  I really like the legato feel of this track.  Lush.

pretty dreamy.

I use the version that's part of Audacity (free) — much simpler.

Thanks!

Ah ok.  I never knew it was part of Audacity.  I might reinstall at some stage and have a squizz.
