Another Dystopian Future

By Jim Wood on September 13, 2014 9:53 pm

Vocal "Marked" by Ciggi Burns (http://ccmixter.org/files/CiggiBurns/46689). Laughter: Eva Orlich (my recording). Both tuned in Melodyne.

You sir, are the re/de/auto/tuning king.

This is great. The progression, and the structureless feeling.

Great vocal manipulation as always.  I like the way the synths sound like they're free-falling or something as well.

Very nice, excellent work on the vocals!

Thank you all for listening!

I really love the work you're doing with finding riffs in vocal gestures--it's always so good.  This one in particular goes through so many stages and styles, you've come up with a voice-editing symphony.  Outstanding.

Appreciate your comments, guys!

Woah, bad ass! Mad skillz over here!

This is beautiful. Like a tortured mind in that dystopian future. I've been watching some dystopian films lately - Dark City, GitS, Akira, etc. This would fit those wonderfully.

Vibrant yet bleak.. Great track.
