now ear dis

Put this together very quickly, first baby was sick, now wife is sick.  Everything was done with korg gadget and beatmaker, added some standard rasta vocals for interes. The bass sounded good on my headphones, just listened to the track now on my computer and the bass frequency is lost.  I guess that is why I should listen on multiple sources.

it is very bassy on my setup.... sounds great except it is actually slightly overmodulating my speakers which are fairly large jbl's. probably sounds amazing on headphones.

ok I confirmed that the mix is very very bassy... on my sennheisers it was overmodulating as well

I made the track using TMA-1's, learned my lesson, listen on something other than my headphones, thanks for the feedback

cool track though... just needs a tweak

Lovely sounds, overdriven bass.

Yeah, the track itself is nicely composed, great transistions! But like mentioned before, the bass seems to clip.

agree on the overdriven bass but the overall feel and arrangement of the track is cool.  I personally find when I stick just to headphones it tends to create a vacuum of sound (if that makes any sense).. Also especially since we tend to be working on these tracks for hours at time, don't forget ear fatigue.  This past week I had to take a few walks outside because I was going nuts from 8bars and staring at my monitor smile  just my .02  But again good track!

Yeah, I'll agree with everyone else - a little much on the bass, on earbuds. If I were home, I'd listen on my bx8a's... alas, at work I don't have that luxury. Very solid in every other way.

If in doubt, just distort the fuck out of it  big_smile
