Again, I missed last week. This is becoming bi-weekly beats for me... I was at Pause Fest in Melbourne being inspired and motivated to be creative, but at the same time having no time to be creative. Go figure.

Going against Weekly Beats' rule #6, this is more of a 'work in progress', but I wanted to get at least something uploaded. To be fair, it's a complete idea. Ha.

My few ideas/inspirations for this piece were:
- Kimbra and Radiohead
- 808
- and i wanted the 'big clap'

The piece will be expanded and built upon for any projects that need it, and I think it might stay as a bit of an instrumental. I don't want to end up sounding too much like Thom Yorke... It's rough and a little empty, but it's groovy.

Live drums, vocals, percussion and guitars, layered with samples.

Oxford Reverb is my friend.
