I really like the recurring motive - I think it's a P5 - that sounds like a motive used by… Chopin or Debussy or someone, but rhythmically different. This is really pretty stuff. Good work.

thank you! i was initially hesitant about recording only piano this week; since that's what i do so often in the rest of my music. i finally decided that i could still work toward something soulful and emotive, without pushing into the beat territory explored in my other WBs. it's actually relaxing to just sit back and go for something simple + pretty; putting that effort into expression rather than complex arrangement.
